Cat Masks

Cat Venetian Masks have at times been very popular in the Venice Carnival.  It is thought that this is due to the fact that at during some periods over the centuries, cats have been scarce in Venice and therefore highly prized.

Many of the designs for these cat Masquerade Masks are based on the replicas of the ancient designs that were used in times of old.
